Raj Aryan, 2 security guards, 8 students, 3 girls
Raj Aryan is arranging the chairs.
Security guard brings in 2 chairs “Sir yeh kahaan par rakhoon?”
Raj “yeh yahaan par….dont worry mein kar loonga. Thank you.”
Raj is now very excited. Sets the chairs right, the school bell rings. He opens up his violin
case and takes out his violin and sits down to play. As students start coming in, he begins.
As he keeps on playing, students slowly wonder about him and walk towards the seats.
As he finishes, and opens his eyes, he finds students sitting on the seats. He smiles.
Narayan Shankar walks on stage as he finishes.
Narayan, “Kaafi shaandaar classroom baran rakkhi hai aapne apne liye, Mr Aryan.”
Raj Aryan stands up, and smiles.
Narayan, “Aap mere saath chaliye, mujhe aapse kuch baat karni hai.”
Raj Aryan and Narayan Shanker walk towards the right of the stage to his office.
As they enter the office Raj says, “I’m sorry sir, mujhe laga ki students agar shaam ko
khuli hawa mein bethenge to unki din bhar ki thakaan door ho jaegi, that’s all.”
Narayan, looking at his file, “Kal se lekar aajtak dus aur students shamil ho gaye hain
aapke saath.”
Raj, excited. “YESS!”
Narayan looks up to him Raj calms down
Raj, “yes”
Narayan shanker closes the file and keeps it on the table “Ek hi din mein bahut kuch kar
liya aapne Mr. Aryan.”
Raj, “Thank you sir. Maine to aapse pehle hi kaha tha sir. Ki music is such a wonderful
thing to..”
Narayan “AAPKI Nakuri pakki Mr. Aryan” looking at a piece of paper.
Hands him a piece of paper.
Narayan, “Yeh raha aapka contract…”
Raj is so surprised. Narayan shankar puts both his hands behind his back.
Narayan, “Isse dhyan se padhke sign kar dijiye”
Raj takes the paper with two hands, “Thank you sir…” brings his hand forward to shake
hands
Raj “Thank you very much.”
Narayan is looking him straight in the eyes. Doesn’t shake his hands.
Narayan continues with Raj still stretching his hands out “Mr. Aryan aap aaj gurukul ka
hissa banne jaa rahe hain.
Raj still with his hands stretched, “jee sir”
Narayan, “Mein aapko kuch samjhaana chahta hoon”
Raj brings his hands down, “Please sir”
Narayan walks away towards his chair, “ pachees saal se maine yeh jageh parampara,
pratishtha aur aunshasan se chalayi hai” looks at Raj
Raj nods.
Narayan walks right behind his seat “ Pachees saal mein koi bhi cheez badli nahi hai.
(pause) Issiliye aaj bhi gurukul ki shaan waise hi hai, jaise 25 saal pehle thi.”
Walks right infront of his seat looking down on his table.
Narayan “Kal aapne kuch kursiyo ka thikaana badla tha. Parso aap kuch aur badalna
chahenge.”
MUSIC… ZABARDAST..
Narayan slowly looks up, with a wicked smile on his face “ Mujhe badalti cheezein acchi
nahi lagti Mr. Aryan.
Mujhe kisi bhi terah ka perivartan. (pause) pasand nahi hai.
I don’t like (pause) changes.
Raj smiles “Mein samajh gaya sir.”
Narayan “ Good.”
And he brings one his hands forward, “Gurukul mein aapka swagat hai, Mr. Aryan”
Raj looks around and says, “Thank you sir”
MUSIC…ANOTHER PIECE.
Raj shakes Narayan Shankar’s hands and walks towards his students.
He slowly picks up his violin and looks at the students just as the music dies.
Raj “Mohabbat, sangeet ki sabse badi prerna….Inspiration!”
Raj walks behind his seat
Raj “Mohabbat aur sangeet ka bahut gehra rishta hai, kyunki dono ka janam dil se hota
hai. Aur dono ki kismet bhi, dil ke kehne par nirbhar hai. Agar tumhe kisi se mohbbat hai
to jao aur jakar usse keh do…”
“yeh mat socho ki woh haan bolegi ki naa.”
“Ussi terah agar tumhara dil kehta hai ki tumhaare saamne rakkha instrument bajaana hai
to uthao aur bajao…” gives the instrument to one of the students. “Yeh mat socho ki
tumse accha bajega ki bura. Sirf apne dil ke awaaz ko suno.
Aur jo dil kahe, usse kar do.
Raj points to the gate “Gaur se uss gate ki taraf dekho.”
Everyone turns around towards the gate.
Raj. “Yeh wohi gate hai jisse tum roz dekhte ho, jisske saamne tum roz guzarte ho. Yeh
wohi gate hai (pause) jisse tum paar nahi kar sakte. “
Raj starts to walk “Gaur se dekho uss gate ko. Aur agar tum mein se kisi ne, kabhi kisi se
mohabbat ki hai, to usse uss gate ke peeche khadi, tumhara intezaar karte hue dekho.
Music piece… 2-3 girls walk pass. Three guys keep looking at them, while the rest start
looking back at Raj.
Raj surprised…”wha..what? Nobody has ever been in love before? Hmm?”
Everyone starts to laugh. Raj, “come on guys” and then he gets his eyes on the three
guys. He asks the others to keep quite.
Raj gets behind them and says “haan (pause), haan woh tumhe bula rahi hai.
Woh keh rahi hai ki aao aur iss gate ko tod do.
Au raise todo ki woh kabhi band na hone pae.
Come on guys, get up and go. Woh hamesha ke liye tumhaara intezaar nahi karne waali.
Sirf apne dil ki suno. Come on jao aur uss gate ko tod do.
Come on sirf apni dil ki suno. Come on. Get up. Go go. GO!
Guys run towards the gate. Everyone starts yelling.
