The Faculty of Art Community and Leisure Studies deliver a wide curriculum offer, managed in four schools, over two sites: Health and Community Studies (SSA1) including Hospitality and Catering (SSA7.4) and Sports SSA8. The Arts SSA9, which includes Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy SSA7.3. Direct Learning Support SSA13.2 and Foundation Studies (SLDD) SSA: 14 1C There are approximately 200 staff and 4,000 enrolments, of which 37% are under 19; this includes five 14-16 vocational link courses, four SLDD link course and a vocational taster course. There is a large outreach provision in local boroughs for adult learners with learning difficulties. There is some Train to Gain provision and apprenticeships, and it is anticipated that these areas will develop further in the near future. The Faculty has overall responsibility for a large SLDD and SpLD Learning Support School which supports approximately 1200 students across the college. The overall management of the Additional Learning Support Service, with a budget of £3.2 million is managed in the faculty. The Faculty objectives are to deliver continuous improvement of success rates, growth in 14-19 and Higher Education provision, and growth in employer responsive provision. The Faculty, through the self assessment process, has been graded as satisfactory in Hospitality and Catering, Health and Public services and Hairdressing and Beauty with grade twos in Foundation Studies, Direct Learning support and the Arts.
