Fantastic exhibition, fantastic hairstyles and make-ups, fantastic shows, fantastic visitors – the 15th edition of the LOOK Hairdressing Forum and beautyVISION Cosmetics Forum can be summarized only in such a way. The success of the Fairs is also reflected in the number of visitors who decided to see the exhibition on the cold but sunny April weekend. 18.5 thousand people came to the area of MTP on April 18 and 19 to take part in the feast of beauty. The exhibitors prepared an extensive range of cosmetics for face and body care and make-up, hair colouring and styling preparations, as well as hairdressing and cosmetic equipment, together with nail decoration devices. The visitors also had an opportunity to make use of not only free counselling, but also free make-ups made by make-up artists. On the first day of the event, the Fair guests' focused attention primarily on was the KREATOR contest, in which, for the 13th time already, the young, talented hairdressers could let their imagination run. The KREATOR contest surprised us positively once again. Firstly, due to the number of participants - 82 (in some categories it was impossible to have them all on one stage together). Secondly, due to the ingenuity and creative inventiveness exhibited by the contestants. This year's edition of the competition included as many as 6 categories, in which young hairdressers competed for the title of KREATOR 2015 (the Creator of 2015). The most spectacular and popular competition proved to be the ART & HAIR one, in which the main theme was Marie Antoinette, and contemporary variations on her styles were Unusually truly skilful brilliant. contestants from Belarus turned out to be a great surprise for us, as they won in two categories – in the male styling NEW LOOK the winner was Aleksandr Panasiuk, and in the CRAZY KIDS HAIR one – Tatiana Yukhovich. Aleksandr Panasiuk was also the winner of the Grand Prix of the MTP President, which was PLN 2,500. The emotions on the stage were enormous, and each of the stylings was original and intricately made. Simultaneously with the shows on the Main Stage – for the entire duration of the Fair – the presentations by companies and brands were held in the Speaker's Corner COLOR and WHITE zones. In the former, the presentation was related to cosmetics and treatments for body care, while in the latter zone the issues concerning the latest trends in make-up or nail decoration were discussed. On Saturday, the Shedor brand ambassador – actress Magda Kumorek – appeared as a guest on the Speaker's Corner WHITE stage. Magda disclosed her way of life in harmony with herself and a few secrets on the topic of external and internal beauty. On both days of the Fair, the 2nd Nails Olympic Show Championship was held, in which the contestants competed in four disciplines - Hybrid Manicure, Nails Beauty Salon and Pink&White Salon, which in turn was divided into the gel and acrylic category. The main juror in this year's championship was Vincenzo Russello - last year's Beauty Dusseldorf world champion, and the contest was attended by over 80 participants. On Sunday, the LOOK and beautyVISION Fair focused on teaching. The Problematic Skin Treatment and Care Congress and the Podology Congress were held, and they enjoyed great popularity among the industry professionals. Hairdressing profession teachers had an opportunity to participate in the conference which was a response to a number of problems they face. Young hairdressers and beauticians had a chance to become Polish champions. The hairdressing industry representatives were fighting to win in the Polish Open Hairdressing Championships and the Open Hair Extension and Compaction Championship, while the stylists competed in the Open Polish Championship in Professional Make-up. On the second day of the Fair, the main attraction on the Main Stage was a show by a London TONI&GUY Academy. The Linden Avenue was filled with the audience who wanted to see the latest Lexicon collection by the best stylists from the TONI & GUY team. The show turned out to be an amazing performance both in terms of hairstyles and costumes, as well as choreography. We could all feel the atmosphere of the LONDON FASHION WEEK. The programme of the event was so extensive that there was something special for everyone. The shows on the Main Stage and at the exhibitors' stands attracted the attention not only of professionals, but also clients of hairstyling and beauty salons. While observing the presentations of the latest trends in haircut, styling or make-up, beauticians and hairdressers surely found some inspiration for their work in salons to be able to offer their clients the most fashionable styling and innovative beauty treatments. Another edition of LOOK & beautyVISION is over now; we would like to thank all exhibitors, visitors and championship participants for their participation in the event. See you next year!
