Next Step Why this FETAC L 4 course? Who is the course for? The course is aimed at people who are unemployed or with less than Leaving Cert qualifications who wish to improve their skills and qualifications in order to return to education, training and employment How much will the course cost? There will be no cost for eligible participants How long will the course run for? The course is a part time course and will run for 26 weeks, 12 hours per week, over 4 days. It will commence late September. We will confirm the start date when you apply. Where will the course take place? The venue is to be confirmed but the classes will take place in the North Inner City Application form Next Step About Next Step This initiative has emerged from the Grangegorman Development and a Labour & Learning Steering Group established to optimise education, training and employment potential from this major development in Dublin’s north inner city. The course will be delivered in an inclusive and adult-friendly way through a variety of teaching methods and everyone will be encouraged to participate. Participants will work towards FETAC certification in a small number of modules mostly at Level 4. Maths will be an important part of the course but will be at a level to suit those who need to brush up on the basics The other modules will be chosen from the areas of General Science, Food and Nutrition, and Human Biology. Guidance will be provided during the course to help participants decide on progression options. There will be on-going study support throughout the course.
