Typical assignments include analyzing and defining network requirements defining & maintaining network architecture & infrastructure configuring & optimizing network servers, hubs, routers, and switches; analyzing network workload; monitoring network capacity and performance; diagnosing and resolving network problems; developing network backup and recovery procedures; installing, testing, maintaining, and upgrading network operating systems software; and/or ensuring the rigorous application of information security/information assurance policies, principles, and practices in the delivery of network services. About the Position: Provide administrative support to the IT department with duties that include general clerical and project based work. Maintain and update documents and databases related to information Assurance requirements. Create and modify IT documents using Microsoft office. Maintain hard copy and electronic filing system. Research, price, and purchase IT supplies. Collect, maintain and track computer inventory. Monitor incoming work orders and phone requests.
