Database Management System for a College bookstore September 2002- December2002 The strategy was to have a Software solution, which will ensure the smooth functioning of the warehouse operations, which will primarily cover the operations of the entire store like generating purchase orders, daily sales, stock monitoring and mainly inventory management. Research Project on Customer Relationship Management: Segmentation January 2003 – March 2003 The project was a research on the latest trends and developments of the customer segmentation techniques used by major corporations. The result of the project was to creation of a taxonomy of Customer segmentation, also included the use of data mining for CRM. Design of a Supply Chain Management System using UML January 2003 – March 2003 The project was to design a successful Supply Management System for a Soda giant from the step of acquiring raw materials to the production of finished product. The development of the project was based on use of Unified Processes. Challenges in Data Integration of Gene Expression DBMS September 2003 – December 2003 The data integration challenges involved in building a system for managing gene expression data were discussed, these challenges have been addressed in our system and in the context of several system integration projects. A data warehouse approach and tools were used in developing the system and were found to provide an effective environment for developing a system to support the integration and management of data from diverse sources, in which data was imprecise and was in the process of evolving over time.
