Registered Nurse – RN – Renal Transplant Coordinator Schedule: Full Time Days Medical City Hospital Dallas Responsible for promoting the Transplant Center at Medical City and serving as the liaison between the transplant program and the referring physicians, dialysis centers and their staff. Responsible for evaluating the needs of each particular customer and following through with timely interventions. These interventions include: staff education, patient education, providing data or reports and dispensing of educational and promotional materials for the program. Identifies, develops, and evaluates marketing strategy, based on knowledge of established objectives, market characteristics, and urban and rural needs. Responsible for the development, coordination and implementation of all marketing plan activities within the nephrology community. Includes planning and implementing the marketing and referral development process including relationship development with referral sources, strategic data analysis and special event coordination. The coordinator will also review with the transplant program the needs of the referring physicians in order to provide better service for continuing quality improvement while maintaining positive relationships and working existing referral sources. Qualifications EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing. If hired after 6/1/2012 BSN required within 24 months of hire. Five years’ experience in the dialysis and /or transplant field. Must have two years marketing experience and a proven track record of meeting and exceeding marketing goals.
