Camille's Eyes
Once upon a time, in a wonderful country, there was a King and a Queen they loved
each other.
They had a beautiful little princess, they called her Camille. She was beautiful, with
long brown hair and beautiful green eyes. She grew up happy until an evil witch who
was jealous of Camille's beauty and also because she was in love with the King, (but he
chose another very beautiful woman) gave her a curse.
She became blind.. The poor princess could not see all the beautiful things around her.
The flowers, the sun, her family and friends, nothing, she saw nothing.
The King and the Queen were very unhappy. They asked for someone to stop this curse.
They looked for a long time but found no one, until one day an old man told them about
a beautiful and kind prince. He could help the princess with he needed her sight. But
feather of a very rare bird. They brought in their castle, they knew all the princes with
a feather.
But the young princess remained blind.
They decided to go with their daughter to meet princes in distant countries. They
traveled few years , they visited beautiful countries but also cold countries, very high
mountains, forests filled with trees, flowers of all colors and animals never seen
elsewhere,, and down on an exotic flower, a small bright feather with thousand colors.
They took it hoping that it was the right feather. They met nice people but nasty people
too and then returned home but again the princess was always blind.
They returned to see the old man who had found the wicked witch and forced her to
find a solution because he also had powers. He promised to turn her into a toad if she
refused to help the princess. Together, they prepared a miracle cream but only one young
man in love with the princess could apply it on Camille's eyes with the feather of a
very rare bird.
King :
- “Who is this mysterious prince, able to cure my daughter ?”
Old man :
- “I think I know who he is.”
King :
-”Please, tell us who is he !”
Old man :
-”He is not a prince but a great young handsome and nice man and I'm
sure he could cure your daughter, because he also has some magic power
without knowing it.”
King :
-”Let's go !”
They went and found the young man. They explained to him the curse that the witch
had cast on the princess and the miracle solution.
The young man accepted even if he did not understand why he would be the healer but
for the kindness of the King and because his heart loved the princess he applied the
cream on Camille's eyes with the feather.
The old man told him that he was the son of a fairy and had several powers in him.
The young man didn't believe right away but after putting cream with the feather he
knew before anyone else what would happen.
When she opened her beautiful eyes, she looked at herself in the mirror and she began to
laugh and cry at the same time.
She could finally see again.
She hugged the old man in her arms for what he had done and thanked the young man
with her whole heart.
Everybody left and thought that the young man will eventually become a great prince
!!!!
They lived happily ever after.
