Example: (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban)
A- Azkaban – Azkaban is the name of the prison in the wizarding world.
B- Black – Black is the last name of Harry’s godfather, Sirius. Sirius has
escaped from Azkaban and is trying to reach Harry.
C- Crabbe- Crabbe is one of Draco Malfoy’s friends at Hogwarts.
D- Etc.
E- PASS (If you wish to skip the letter, write or type PASS beside the letter.)
Setting of Time:
Using complete sentences, explain what time period the
book takes place during. You will need to give examples from the book that
helped you determine when the story takes place. 10 pts
Recommendation: Using complete sentences, explain why you would or would
not recommend this book to other readers. Give examples from the book that
support your recommendation. 10 pts
Total points for entire project:
100 pts.

adventure. The book is an adventure story and was very exciting.
Bell. The protagonist in my book was Isaac Bell. He is a detective.
Crash. The antagonist caused a train to crash over a cliff.
Detective. Isaac Bell is a detective trying to solve the case.
Evil. The antagonist is an evil man trying to destroy the railroad.
Fire. The coal cars on the tracks caught on fire.
Gorge. The railroad was building a bridge across a gorge in the
mountains.
Hero. Isaac Bell was a hero when he saved the bridge from falling into the
river.
Idaho. One of the settings in the story was in Idaho.
Jumped. Isaac Bell jumped out of the car and onto the train to try to stop
the bad guy.
Pass
Lillian. Lillian Hennessy worked for her father on the railroad. She liked
Mr. Bell.
Mountains. The railroad dug a tunnel through a mountain.

Setting of time: The setting of time in my story was 1907. This was given as the
date at the beginning of the story. It took place over a period of several days and
nights. It was during the late fall and into winter. It was also the rainy season in
the Great Northwest.
Recommendation: I would recommend this book to people who enjoy a great
adventure story with lots of action. It was a really good book and was fun to
read. I really liked this book.
