Application To Be a Research Assistant in Sara Mednick’s Sleep and Cognition Lab The Mednick lab studies the effects of sleep and drugs on learning and memory. Research Assistants in the lab may be involved in any aspects of experiments, including recruiting and screening potential subjects, running human subjects in experimental procedures (informed consent, psychophysics, polysomnography), data coding and analysis, and helping with other needed tasks. The required time commitment is 12 hours/week for at least 1 year (4 quarters). You must be willing to occasionally work overnight in the lab. After a probationary period, you can register for 2-4 credits per quarter, S/NC.
