ABSTRACT. The abstract should contain no more than 250 words. The abstract should state
briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. An abstract is
often presented separate from the paper, so it must be able to stand alone. References should
therefore be avoided, but if essential, they must be cited in full, without reference to the
reference list. Non-standard or uncommon abbreviations should be avoided, but if essential
they must be defined at their first mention in the abstract itself.
Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 5 keywords, avoiding
plural terms, multiple concepts as well as "and", "of".
1. INTRODUCTION
Provide the objectives of the work and an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature
survey or a summary of the results. The first paragraph should be written with no ident. All
cited papers, i.e. Surname1 (2000a), Surname1 (2000b), Surname3 and Surname4 (2002), and
Surname3 et al. (2003) should appear in alphabetic order, by the surname of the first author.
Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list.
The second paragraph as well as the next ones should have ident of 6 pt.
2. NEXT CHAPTER
The first paragraph should be written with no ident. Please write your text in good English
(American or British usage is accepted, but not a mixture of them). Figures and tables should
follow caption. The captions of the figures should follow the figures and the titles of the
tables should come before the tables. Figure 1 presents the cover of Artificial Satellites,
Journal of Planetary Geodesy.

The second paragraph as well as the next ones should have ident of 6 pt. Table 1 presents
the number of the issues of the Artificial Satellites, Journal of Planetary Geodesy, edited in
the years 2001-2004.

3. CONCLUSIONS
Each contribution submitted to publication in our Journal should have original conclusions
and,. like in the introduction, the first paragraph should be written with no ident.
Like in the introduction, the second paragraph as well as the next ones should have ident
of 6 pt.
Acknowledgements. Acknowledgements are optional. Place acknowledgements in a separate
section at the end of the article and do not, therefore, include them on the title page, as a
footnote to the title or otherwise.
