Comment Market Trend: Quality of heavier cattle reflected an easier trend while feed
on heifers, selected steers and light veal sold fully firm. Heavy heifers and steers lacked
the quality of previous weeks finishing 3-5 c easier. Restockers bid keenly on steers to
215.2c yearling heifers to 179.2c bullocks to 176.2c
Potential Show Steer Sale Report: Champion steer a/c Smithston Farms sold for 283.0
c/kg and weighed 350.0 kg to locals RS & BJ Williamson. Prices ranged from 196.0 c/kg
to 350.0 c/kg. Buyers came from Inverell, Tenterfield, Armidale, Uralla and as far as
Dubbo and strong local support for this 1st Annual Sale.
