Friday 20 May 2011 at The Parade Tower: Public Meeting to discuss
Ireland's Human Right Record (7pm to 10pm).
The Minister for Justice and Equality, Mr Alan Shatter T.D and The Minister of
State for Disability, Equality and Mental Health, Kathleen Lynch T.D invite
members of the public and organisations to take part in public consultation
meetings to discuss Ireland's human rights record as part of the United Nations
Human Rights Council Universal Periodic Review (UPR) process.
A series of public meetings will be held around the country with the southeastern regional meeting at Kilkenny Castle's Parade Tower.

Monday 23 May 2011 at Kilkenny Castle Park: 50 classic and modern
Jaguar Cars (9:30am to 12noon):
Classic and Modern Jaguar Cars from the Jaguar Enthusiasts' Club in the UK
will descend on Kilkenny Castle Park for the morning of Monday 23 May. All
are most welcome to view the cars at The Castle.

Saturday 28 May 2011 at Kilkenny Castle Park (12noon to 4pm): National
Drawing Day
The nation’s biggest contribution to National Drawing Day 2011 takes place
once again at Kilkenny Castle Park. It is coordinated by Butler Gallery in
conjunction with Office of Public Works, Kilkenny Castle.
Save the day for this mini-festival of drawing and try your hand at drawing
with string and willow, drawing with wood and other creative approaches to the
practice of drawing outdoors!
All are welcome and no booking necessary.
