Topics in Mental Health Services Research Instructor: Barbara M. Rohland, M.D. Spring 2000 3 credit hours (2- 90 minute seminar periods per week) 15 weeks Format: Class discussion of weekly reading assignments Grading: Class Quizzes (20%) 10 point quiz at the beginning of each class period to review objectives of previous lesson and pretest knowledge of assigned readings; final quiz score for grade calculation will be the average of the highest 20 test scores Exam, Part I (20%) Exam, Part II (20%) Exam, Part III (20%) Final Project (20%): Develop a Proposal for the Evaluation of a Mental Health Program. A written report (approximately 10 pages) and an oral presentation (approximately 30 minutes) will be due at the end of the semester.
