Biography
Nihal Wahby is an Egyptian artist born in Cairo, where she continues to reside.
A visual artist; her work takes the form of drawings and paintings as well cross disciplines and mediums .She ventures into new medias and materials depending on the artistic vision of each art project.
Her work challenges awareness, identity and self-realization She explores the relation between physical and virtual reality and between art and the viewer.

Mentored by the well-known Egyptian Artist and writer Hassan Soliman, he played a major role in her artistic development, and transformation during her earlier years of practice. She has attended several courses in Central
Saint Martin School of Art in London in order to strengthen her practice and awareness of international contemporary art movement.
Nihal also held the role of Curator and Director of an Egyptian Art institution whose collection includes works by Egyptian modern masters and contemporary artists. In addition to this, she served as a curator and advisor to regional art institutions, and has curated a number of exhibitions for leading Egyptian artists in 2005, 2006 and
2008.
She is currently a member of the Egyptian Fine Art Syndicate.
