Experience in producing an optimized design using FEA,
DFM, DFA, DFT, and trade study techniques.
Experience of Mechanical parts, sub-assembly’s and General
Assemblies, to meet cost, quality, and functional performance
targets, using different manufacturing techniques.
Experience in conveying design schemes, to colleagues, other
departments and supporting formal design reviews
Experience in Thermal, Vibration and Stress analysis.
Experience of configuration control.
Experience in compiling and maintaining bills of Materials.
Experience of Microsoft office tools
Knowledge of Avionic systems
Ability to define and implement appropriate
formal design methodology.
Experience of the complete design cycle form
interpretation of the requirements through
design analysis, development, and verification.
Undertake risk assessments of the mechanical
design
Knowledge of Hardware qualification practices
and procedures to RTCA/DO-160, MILSTD461/-462, 704 and 810.
