What is Peer Supervision?
Peer supervision is a recognised professional development intervention. As working
environments become more pressurised, health care managers recognise the need
for peer supervision specifically to deal with challenges within their management
role. Peer supervision is an arrangement where three or more professionals share
the responsibility for providing each other's supervision within the group context.
Peer supervisors ask questions to promote critical self-reflection in the supervisee.
When managers engage in peer supervision, they present dilemmas they're
struggling with and work with their peers to gain perspective and insight.
Workshop Facilitator: Lily Murphy
In 2012, 2013 and 2014, Lily has delivered Peer Supervision workshops for OT and
