ENTRIES and FEES
ENTRIES RECIEVED BY THE CLOSE OFF DATE WILL GO INTO A DRAW TO WIN $100
 Competitors must pre enter via: Post OR Direct Deposit.
 Entry forms available on the Club’s website www.actmcc.com.au or email
daryleneaustin@hotmail.com for a copy.
 The Entry Fees are:
 Seniors $75, Extra Class $20
 Juniors $65, extra class $20
 Nippers $30
 Sidecars $95
 There will be prize money awarded to the SNR Pro Lites,Pro Open ,Pre 90 Unlimited and
Sidecars $250, $150, $80.
 Competitors/Entrants must complete the entry forms Correctly and attach the correct entry fees
 Payment can be made by Cheque, Money Order or Direct Deposit only Bank: St George

 IF ANY CHEQUES ARE DISHONOURED, THE ENTRANT/COMPETOR IS RESPONSIBLE

 Entries close last mail Thursday 19th Feb 2015.
 The ACTMCC being the promoter of this event reserves the right to refuse the entry of a
person or persons from this event.
 Late entries may be accepted at the Race Secretary’s discretion.
 The ACTMCC will raise money for our club by charging spectators other than riders and pit
crew. $10 per person or $20 per car at the front gates.
LICENCES
Can be National, Club or One Event (day) licences.
FIRST AID SERVICES
Will be provided by Emergency Australia Services
AWARDS
ACT Kings and Queens of Canberra trophies will be awarded to the top three point scorers in each
class with 6 or more competitors. Prize money and Trophies for Snr/Pre 90 Open /sidecars.
ENTRIES TO CONSTITUTE A CLASS




To constitute a Class, the number of contestants entered and competing in each Class shall be
a minimum of 6 solo or 3 or more for sidecars for classes with prize money minimum of 10
solo’s,6 Woman and 4 sidecars.
Should there be insufficient entries in any Class of Competition, the decision to run or cancel
the Class, or to combine events and re-distribute any awards, will be at the discretion of the
Promoter.
Classic Classes: If not enough entries for these classes they will be combined.
If weather and time become an issue the Support Classes will be cut.
RACE FORMAT
Saturday
We will run 1 round of practice on the Dog Leg then 3 rounds of racing and if time permits will run 1
round of practice of the long track sat afternoon.
Sunday
We will only run practice on long track Sunday if we ran out of time on the sat afternoon, otherwise
we will be having 3 rounds of racing on the long track Sunday, Finals will be run on the long track.





There will be 6 rounds of Racing for all classes with one grid of riders or less. For classes with
more than one grid of riders there will be 5 rounds of racing with the top twelve point scorers
from those rounds competing in a one race final.
Finishing order in heats will determine the qualifying position which will determine your gate
draw in all finals.
Practice will be 2 laps, Races/Heats will be 4 laps
Classes with Prize money that have heats will be 4 laps and there final will be 6 Laps, and if
they are straight classes these will be 6 laps.
Scoring will be as per GCR’s for Dirt Track
MACHINES AND RIDERS



All machines entered must comply with the current GCR’s for Track.
Multiple entry of the one Machine in the same Class of Competition is not permitted.
Riders wishing to change machine must seek permission from the Clerk of the Course,
however the same machine must be ridden in any final as was ridden in the qualifying heat for
that final.
RIDING NUMBERS



Competitors will be allocated their MNSW Registered Riding Number or their preferred Riding
Number. All others shall be allocated numbers at the Promoter’s discretion.
All Number Plates on all Machines MUST comply with the GCR’s.
Back Number’s MUST be clearly displayed on riders back. The GCR’S state “back
numbers MUST be worn or you can not compete.
GRID POSITIONS


Will be by peg draw on the day. The peg number drawn will be the gate position.
Finishing order in heats will determine your gate draw in your finals.
RIDERS BRIEFING
A Riders’ Briefing will be held prior to the commencement of practice and ALL Competitors MUST
attend on both Saturday and Sunday.
DRUG AND OR ALCOHOL TESTING:
Random drug &/or alcohol testing of participants (i.e. officials, competitors, mechanics, pit crew
and any other person associated with the control, direction and operation of the competition) may
take place prior to, or at any time during this meeting
CODE OF CONDUCT
All Competitors, Officials and Parents are reminded of the Motorcycling Australia By-Law - CODE
OF CONDUCT (as stipulated in the GCR’s) which is a guide to appropriate behaviour at all
Motorcycle Race Meetings. This CODE OF CONDUCT applies to this Meeting and shall be
enforced.
PITS:
Trailers only to be in pit area, you may Drive in and Drop trailer off.
No one under 16yrs to be in pit area unless they are a competer.
No One to be in start area.
TIMETABLE
Saturday: Gates open at 6.30am. Sign On and Scrutineering 7am till 8.30am, Riders Briefing
8.45am, Practice 9am and Racing ASAP after Practice. Sat 1 round practice and 3 rounds racing
on Dog Leg then 1 round of practice on the long track in the afternoon, if time and weather
permits.
Sunday: Gates open at 6.30am, riders briefing at 8.15am, there will be no practice on Sunday
unless we didn’t get practice in on sat afternoon for long track, racing at 9.00am.Sunday 3 rounds
racing on the long track and 1 round of Finals. There will be no need to resign on or scrutineered
your bike unless the bike was involve in an accident on the Saturday.
CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
640 metre Dirt Track constructed of decomposed granite (long Track), 607 Metre Dirt track
constructed of composed granite on the dog leg.
STARTS
Will be a 12-rider grid with Speedway Style Tapes .Starting procedure will be confirmed at Riders
Briefing.
NOISE
All machines must comply with the requirements of the GCR’s and the ACT’s Motor Sports Noise
Environment Protection Policy (Dirt Track=85db Trackside/ride by). Compulsory EPA track side
noise monitoring will be conducted. No machine under any circumstance is to be started before 9am.
TYRES
NO NOBBY’S TYRES ON JUNIOR 125/250CC OR ANY SENIOR BIKES, otherwise as per
GCR’s. Trials or speedway pattern are ok.
CAMPING
Camping is allowed at the track Friday/Saturday night.
CANTEEN
Canteen Facility’s will be OPEN Sat and Sun.
PRESENTATIONS
Trophy presentations will take place at the Pit area nearby the score tower ASAP at the conclusion
of racing on the sunday.

MARSHALLING
You will be required to provide a marshal for this event, if you are unavailable to fulfil
this duty it is up to you to find a replacement.
