Job Description
The Goalkeeper Coach is responsible for the development of all goalkeepers at the club.
The Goalkeeper Coach role includes;
1. Responsibility for the training and welfare of all goalkeepers
2. Planning and delivering goalkeeping sessions for the first team
3. Development of a programme of goalkeeping sessions throughout the youth development
programme
The Club Secretary is responsible to the First Team Manager/Head Coach and the Head of Youth
Development
Goalkeeper Coach MUST possess as a minimum:
ALT 1 – IFA Goalkeeping Diploma or any valid foreign coaching diploma which is equivalent to this one and recognised
by the IFA as such or; ALT 2 - must have already started and attended the first part of the IFA Goalkeeping Diploma
course and be working towards completion in a reasonable timeframe.
If ALT 2, please provide a timeframe in which the Course will be completed.
