early December with the majority being sent via email.
From 2010, these newsletters will be published quarterly rather than the current

publication and will be endeavouring to use the newsletter as a method for sharing
knowledge amongst the members.

30th October 2009: Cambridge Cavy Trust 2010 Appliction
Forms
The C.C.T as a registered charity is going to 'freeze' its membership fees at the 2009
price IF applications are submitted before 31st December 2009. After this, a small
increase will be necessary. All proceeds go towards the cost of providing an animal
Hospital run voluntarily by Vedra. Starting this December, members will receive
regular (rather than annual) newsletters, which are going to provide useful medical
information as well as stories/experiences submitted from other members in relation
to the care and welfare of their pets. We see this as a positive step to bringing more
up to date information to the supporters of the C.C.T
30th October 2009: B.A.R Newsletters
Starting December 2009, we are introducing a more regular newsletter for B.A.R
members and students. The newsletters will contain more technical medical updates
as well as a variety of other useful and interesting articles, some of which are going
to be provided by our existing members. This should provide regular contact with
members over the course of the year and we hope will be seen as a useful addition
to the training given to our members.
