Day 1: Airport- Amman
Meet & assist at Queen Alia airport, transfer to hotel for dinner& overnight
Day 2: Amman- Amman city tour-Madaba-Nebo- Dana
After breakfast, transfer to make Amman city tour; Citadel& Amphitheatre, you will be driven through the King’s
highway for tour of St. George's Church in Madaba, home to the famous mosaic map of the Holy Land before
moving on to Mt. Nebo prophet Moses last site at Holy Land and burial place, continue to Dana for dinner&
overnight.
Day 3: Dana-Feynan (Full day hike) Easy to Moderate
Wadi Dana trail
After breakfast, Start from the Dana Guesthouse at 1200m above sea level and adventure down through the
beautiful Dana Biosphere Reserve to Feynan at 325 m. Cross paths and exchange warm greetings with local
Bedouin tending their goats or stop to rest and enjoy sweet tea. Experience the different bio-geological zones of
Dana and keep an eye out for the many rare forms of flora and fauna to be found here such as the Nubian ibex.
Day 4: -Feynan- Petra
Wadi ghwayr sampler
This 4 hour trail begins from the lodge and passes by Khirbet Feynan, where many Byzantine and Roman ruins are
preserved passing onwards into the Wadi Ghwayr basin. Following the gravel riverbed, the trail proceeds onwards
past a Neolithic settlement estimated to be over 12,000 years old. The trail then follows the riverbed past pink
acacias and other plant life made possible by the seasonal flows of Wadi Ghwayr when rain is received in winter
months in the mountains to the East of Feynan Ecolodge. The route returns the same way back to the lodge. Be
prepared for your feet and ankles to most likely get wet.
Continue to Petra for overnight
Day 5: Petra- Wadi Rum
Half day in Petra; viewing the magnificent Treasury, temples, tombs, houses and the amphitheater, continue to
visit little Petra(Beida), transfer to Wadi Rum; a unique valley of colored sand dunes surrounded by beautiful
rugged mountains, explore the desert by Jeep 4x4 tour, dinner& overnight
Day 6: Wadi Rum- Aqaba (Half day hike) Easy to moderate
After breakfast, the group walks up the Barragh canyon, which should take about 3 hours. After lunch, a hike in the
easy sandy valley towards Jebel Burdah, transfer to Aqaba, enjoy tour in the sea with dinner, continue to hotel for
overnight
Day 7: Aqaba-Dead Sea-Amman
After breakfast, free morning, continue to Dead Sea; the lowest points on the earth, enjoy swimming there,
continue to Amman for dinner& overnight
Day 8: Amman-Airport
After breakfast, transfer to airport for departure
