Day 1- ARRIVAL AT AMMAN AIRPORT
Welcome to Jordon! Upon your arrival you will be greeted and transferred to
your hotel in Amman. D
Day 2 - AMMAN / DESERT CASTLES / KAN ZAMAN / AMMAN
In the morning, you will be driven to the eastern desert of Jordan to visit the
Desert Castles. These castles were built between the 7th and 8th century AD,
under the caliphs of the Umayyad dynasty. Their fine mosaics, frescoes, and
stone carvings are beautiful examples of early Islamic art and architecture. The
castles served various purposes such as hunting lodges, caravan stations, trade
centers, and outposts. Visit Qasr Amra, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then
proceed to Qasr Al Kharrana and Qasr Al Azraq and continue to Kan Zaman
Village, which is an ancient caravansary renovated and rebuilt so that it
resembles the center of a small village. There are workshops and artists studios
where the craftsmen can be seen at their trades. B/D
Day 3 - AMMAN / JERASH / UM QAYS / AMMAN
In the morning you will be driven north to visit Jerash, which remains today as one
of the most beautiful and best-preserved Greco-roman cities in the world.
Excavations made it possible to update two theatres, several temples, churches,
a market, thermal baths, and the famous Cardo Maximus alley of 600 meters
bordered columns. You will proceed further north to Umm Qays, the ancient
Greco-Roman City of Gadara, which offers a splendid panoramic view
overlooking the lake of Tiberias, Jordan Valley and the Golan Heights. Visit Um
Qays’ impressive colonnaded terrace and the remains of two roman theatres.

Day 4-AMMAN / MADABA / MT. NEBO / KINGS’ HIGHWAY / KERAK / PETRA
Morning departure to visit Madaba “the City of Mosaics”. Visit the town’s main
attraction, the Greek Orthodox church of St. George where the famous 6 th
Century Byzantine mosaic map of the holy sites in the biblical world is found.
Proceed to Mount Nebo, the place where it is believed that Moses was buried.
The mountain, which rises to 840 m of altitude, offers a spectacular view of the
Holy land. Drive via the Kings Highway, the ancient road mentioned in the bible,
which links prehistoric villages from the Stone Age, and biblical towns, to arrive at
Karak. Visit Karak’s Crusaders Castle built in the 12th century AD, which is situated
on a hilltop about 1000 meters above sea level and surrounded by a valley on
three sides. Karak has been inhabited since at least the Iron Age, and was an
important city for the Moabites. You will continue your journey to the greatest
city of the Arab nation that existed 2000 years ago: Petra. Overnight in Petra. B/D
Day 5- FULL DAY VISIT OF PETRA
The ancient Nabatean city of Petra was recently voted as one of the Seven
Wonders of the World. It is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and
greatest tourist attraction. In 1985 Petra was designated as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site. Begin your visit by enjoying a walk or a short horse ride from Petra’s
main entrance to the entrance of the old city “Al Siq”, which is a 350 meters
narrow canyon. As you reach the end of the Siq, the first and greatest
monument of Petra slowly comes into view. This is the famous Treasury monument
“Al Khazneh”.Petra “The Rose City” is an extraordinary and unique place, which
was built by the Arab Nabateans more than 2000 years ago. The Nabateans
carved their monumental tombs, palaces, temples and treasury from the
desert’s natural rose-colored rocks and sandstones. Petra was an important
junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked the Eastern world
with that of the West. Indulge yourself, and allow our professional guide to walk
you through the architectural and spiritual wonders of this majestic place
explaining every detail in sight. B/D
Day 6- PETRA / WADI RUM / AMMAN
Depart to the Natural Resort of Wadi Rum “The Valley of the Moon” a unique
place unlike anywhere else you have ever visited. Arrive at the village of Rum
where you will be picked up by jeeps to explore this splendid desert with the
local Bedouins. They will drive you with their 4x4 jeeps for approximately two
hours to the Bed of the Valley of the Moon to the great mountain of Al Khazali.
Discover the many cultures that inhabited Wadi Rum since prehistoric times. The
Thamudic, Nabatean, Greek and Arabic civilizations all left their mark in the form
of rock paintings, graffiti, and temples. In the afternoon you will return to Amman.

Day 7-CITY TOUR OF AMMAN / DEAD SEA / AMMAN
Enjoy the day Visiting Amman, the capital of Jordan, a fascinating city of
contrasts. Visit the Citadel, which is situated on one of the highest hills in Amman
that offers a splendid view of the old city. Near the citadel pay a visit to the
Archaeological Museum that houses an excellent collection of Jordan’s
antiquities. Proceed down hill to the downtown of the old city to visit the Roman
Theatre, which dates back to the 2nd century AD. It is also the home of Jordan’s
Folklore Museum, which displays various artifacts of the traditional Jordanian life
including. Then proceed to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth 400 meters
below sea level. Spend the rest of the day bathing, and relaxing in the gently
lapping waters of the Dead Sea and be amazed that you can’t sink! B/D
Day 8- AMMAN / AMMAN AIRPORT
Transfer to Amman Airport for departure including meeting and assistance during
formalities. B
