• Calculator – must be non-graphing for the Regents and if it is a
scientific calculator, it can be used for three years through chemistry
class. A four-function dollar store calculator is fine for earth science
only.
• Dark blue or black pen (cannot be erasable)
• Old fashioned wooden pencil (non-mechanical for quizzes)
• Textbook cover (brown paper bag is okay)

• Six inch ruler with metric scale
• Two or more colored pencils for diagrams in notes and lab, your choice;
red and blue left over from a childhood pack work well.
• Protractor (dollar store type is fine); should have center hole in base
