The Portable Film Force System

The Portable Film Force System is the best way to measure and record film performance in the field. Quickly and accurately
measure the film’s containment force and puncture resistance on any load, anywhere. Collect, record, and graph data
instantly in real time. Compare multiple tests in seconds.
Primary Kit:






Remote data acquisition system with a single load cell mounted on steel base
6” disc for testing containment force, per ASTM-D4649-3
Puncture probe for testing puncture resistance
Professional ABS carry case with foam protection
Computer Module
2 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Packs
Load cell and counterweight are draped over load on opposite side to balance each other.
Highlight data acquisition software displays data via Wi-Fi remote to notebook computer.
Wireless system will stay powered for 6+ hours. Primary load cell package has an
adjustable strap that will accept two additional load cells. Highlight’s software allows the
tests to be displayed, printed, compared, and reprinted.

Remote data acquisition system with a three (3) load cells mounted on steel bases
Three (3) 6” disc for testing containment force, per ASTM-D4649-3
Puncture probe for testing puncture resistance
Professional ABS carry case with foam and charger
Computer Module
2 Rechargeable Lithium Ion Battery Packs
Three (3) 6 inch discs with 100 pound load cells. The Professional Kit is used for testing
across the entire load profile in three locations. Packaged for protection in a black ABS
case with precision cut foam. Includes a heavy duty, water and dust proof hard rolling
case with slide out handle to house the Portable Film Force System’s three load cells and
all of its components, as well as a precision cut foam layout.

Rechargeable battery has 6 hour life and can be changed out without shutting down the system
100 lb rated Load Cell, accurate to +/- 0.25%
Optional companion notebook computer is fully functional and set-up for testing on delivery. Changes in the
electronics market dictate that the exact computer model provided be updated frequently.
