General ‘BMECS’ Show Information
If you would like to enter BMECS this year then the following should give you all the information you need. If you

The BMECS Championship 2015 will be held on the: 3rd & 4th October 2015
The Show will be held at: Brockington College, Blaby Road,Enderby, Leics, LE19 4AQ. The
show will start promptly at: 8.45 am - The doors will open at: 8am
Entry Fees for BMECS 2015 are as follows:
1- 5 BMECS Cards = £1.50 per card
6-10 BMECS cards = £10.00
11-20 BMECS Cards = £15.00
21-30 BMECS Cards = £20.00
31-50 BMECS Cards = £25.00
51-75 BMECS Cards =£30.00
76-100 BMECS Cards = £35.00
101+ BMECS Cards = £40.00
PLEASE NOTE THAT ENTRY FEES HAVE CHANGED THIS YEAR,
YOU WILL NOW PAY PER DAY.
To enter BMECS a completed ‘entrant information form’ and a ‘horses entered’ form must be
returned with your completed tickets. To obtain the relevant forms contact the BMECS Team by email
or by sending an SAE to the address above or check the website/Facebook page.
All completed forms must be received back by 19th August 2015, qualifier cards by 21st August
2015. Please ensure you request your forms in plenty of time to enter!! NO late entries can be
accepted. You may enter by email but please save the file in it’s original format (I do not have
up to date versions of Microsoft Office, so will be unable to open files not in the format
provided - sorry), cards must then be sent by post (or delivered at POWIE).
Last minute entries and cards can be collected by a team member at POWIE on Saturday 16th
August.
Please make sure you enter your model in the correct class, it will not be possible to change entries on the day if the
correct information has not been given.
For Performance, you must note the correct section you are entering that horse into:
1 – Forward Seat classes (Ridden Horse or Pony, Show Jumping, 3 Day Event, Dressage, Gymkhana)
2 – Western (all classes under western tack Inc games, rodeo, cattle work and showmanship)
3 – Other (Costume- Arab, Native American & Other; scene; driving; saddleseat; other)
Please note that again for 2015, you can enter your model in ANY class within the section that it has qualified in.
For Workmanship, please state the colour of the horse and in addition, state if it was completed by a UK artist.
For Inhand/Breed classes, you must state the
Breed (or Type – Cob, Hunter etc)
Gender (Stallion, Mare, Gelding, Colt or Filly if model is youngstock up to 2 years old);
Make
Finish (please look closely at the sections – any customized model should be entered in the custom section, this includes
Commercial china or resin that are not in their exact original form, e.g. matte sprayed Beswick that was originally only
produced in a gloss finish, if in doubt please ask).
ALL Animal Artistry models go in that section, regardless of finish.
CTF has been split into TWO sections PLEASE check the class lists for where your horses/ponies should go.

CARDS ACCEPTED – we accept the following qualifier cards – BMECS, NAMSHA/NAN, All cards MUST be eligible for
2015 or later, no out of date cards will be accepted.
Proxy Shower Information:
If you cannot enter BMECS this year you have 2 options –
1. Tickets are valid for 2015/16 BMECS and you can enter your horses then OR
2. Your entries can be proxy shown by somebody else. BMECS entrants who are proxy-showing models for another
individual(s) will be given additional table space at the BMECS Show Committee’s discretion. The rules and fees for
someone having their horses shown by a proxy person are the same as if they were attending.
Sales and sponsorship:
BMECS Sponsorship is available at: £5 for Group Rosettes, £10 for Top Ten Rosettes, £10 for Trophies OR £15 for both
Rosettes and Trophies for the Top Ten.

Sales tables are available for £10 per table OR a Donation to raffle (space permitting); contact the Show Director for
details.
Trade Stands/Artists are very welcome to attend and sell their products at the BMECS. The cost is £10.00 per table or
free if a raffle donation/sponsorship is received. Please contact the show director for further details and to organise
table/space reservations.
Further information:
Show packets containing show information, a list of your horses and the classes they have been entered into, show
schedules and directions will be sent out approximately 2 weeks before the show date. All entry forms MUST be
received by the closing date of 19th August to enable these show information to be prepared and sent out. NO late entries
will be accepted.
YOU CAN ENTER AS MANY HORSES AS YOU HAVE QUALIFIED BUT YOU MUST BE
CONFIDENT THAT YOU CAN GET THEM INTO AND OUT OFTHE RINGS IN REASONABLE TIME,
THERE WILL BE 4 to 5 RINGS RUNNING AT ALL TIMES
