Grading Scale: A 90-100 points B 80-89 points C 70-79 points D 60-69 points F 59 points and below DUE MAY 1 Dear Student, We will be using the Layered Curriculum format for Unit 3 Chapter 2. The Layered Curriculum focuses on a student-led classroom in which you, the student, get to choose the activities and assignments you do. The Layered Curriculum lets you decide what grade you’ll receive for this chapter. You can work at the pace that best suits you and learn in your particular learning style. You will be expected to bring all of your materials to Spanish every day and you will be working every day. Since you are choosing your activities and assignments, there is no excuse for not working. The Layered Curriculum puts YOU in charge of your learning. You must complete the C Layer and have me sign off on it before you move to the B Layer. You also must complete the B Layer and have me sign off on it before you move to the A Layer. If I feel you have not completed one of the layers to the best of your ability, you will not be able to proceed to the next layer. You will have to go back, make changes, and resubmit your work to me for that layer. Since your work will be turned in to me layer by layer, you will need to stay organized. If you do not already have a folder or a binder for this class, you will want to invest in one. The grading scale is found on the bottom of the last page. Please challenge yourself and take an active part in your learning. Señora Hamdorf
