Johnson College and Marywood University have agreed to a correlation of their curricula
for students in the above mentioned degree program who wish to complete the B.S. in
Biology or B.S. in Biotechnology at Marywood University. Subject to the terms of this
agreement, a student who satisfactorily completes the requirements of the degree at
Johnson College with a 2.5 overall grade point average (QPA) or above, and a 3.00 grade
point average (QPA) in science courses will be granted admission to Marywood
University. The student will have his/her credits earned, with a C or above (C+ or above
for science courses), accepted for transfer based on the attached course equivalency.
However, the following terms and conditions shall apply:
1.
The student must meet deadline dates for application, payment of fees, etc., that
would normally apply to other new students at Marywood University.
2.
The student shall choose the recommended elective courses and course
sequences as agreed to on the attached course equivalence sheet.
3.
The student who does not meet the 3.0 GPA requirement should contact
the Marywood University Admissions Office for options.
4.
The student must not attend another higher education institution between graduating
from Johnson College and enrolling in Marywood University.
If any of the above terms and conditions are not met, Marywood University shall
determine the appropriate transfer of credit on an individual basis.
Students who wish to transfer to Marywood University prior to qualifying for the
Associate Degree at Johnson College must submit their transcript for evaluation on a
course-by-course basis by Marywood University.
