Contributions for anniversary publication and/or university blog
Dear University of Bayreuth Alumni,
dear Friends, Associates & Sponsors,
The University of Bayreuth will be celebrating its 40th anniversary in the coming year. A range
of various public events have been planned to mark the occasion, and preparations for a
special anniversary publication are already underway.
Students are at the centre of university life and work. After graduation, they go on to apply
their education in occupational practice, thereby becoming a vital part of the university’s
history.
And the University of Bayreuth’s reputation – even its very existence – are due in large part
to the efforts of the University’s esteemed friends, associates, and sponsors. We would like
to express our sincere thanks for the many ways in which you have personally helped to
ensure the University’s good fortune over the past 40 years.
We would therefore like to give you the opportunity to publicly get involved in the anniversary
celebration by submitting your own anniversary wishes and a few lines commemorating your
time at the University of Bayreuth.
To submit your contribution, please use the online form found under the following link:
https://ubayreuthmarketing.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0vuBN5PRTHBCVql . The form will
require you to enter a password, which is “Bayreuth”. Alternatively, you are welcome to

submit your message using the attached Word document (including form and release notice
for text and any photos submitted). If you prefer this option, please send your submission to
Elisabeth.Steiger@uvw.uni-bayreuth.de.
If you have any questions or require further information, please contact us at the e-mail

Please keep in mind that we will only be able to publish submissions that are typed into the
form provided, filled out in full, and include some personal touch. It would be great if you
could include a photographic self-portrait or a photo someone else took of you during your
studies along with a current photo. Please make sure that all photos have a resolution of at
least 300 dpi and that you are the only person appearing on the photos.
We are planning to publish all submissions in our blog. A selection of the messages received
no later than 02 March 2015 will also be included in the special anniversary publication.
By submitting your text and photos, you agree to allow the University of Bayreuth to publish
the material on the internet and in print. In this connection, please see the release notice (in
the attachment or via the online form).

permanent and unlimited right of use as well as the transferable, non-exclusive right to use any texts,

Nutzung der in der Anlage dargestellten oder bezeichneten Texte, Lichtbilder und Filmaufnahmen mit seiner Darstellung ein.
Er/sie versichert, Inhaber der vorgenannten Rechte und zur Nutzungseinräumung berechtigt zu sein.
Inhaltlich umfasst das Recht die Nutzung in Printmedien, im Fernsehen über alle Verbreitungswege, im Internet, in Newslettern,
auf CD, DVD und sonstigen Speichermedien, auch solchen, die zum Zeitpunkt der Vereinbarung noch nicht entwickelt oder
bekannt waren, zum Zwecke der Außendarstellung der Universität Bayreuth, unabhängig davon, ob diese Zwecke schon bei
