World War I Collage Project
Each group is to create a collage that best represents the feeling
of their given topic. The collages will be presented in an oral
presentation to the class. You will be asked questions about the
content of your collage.

 CENTRAL POWERS-Should include a map, flag and leaders of your
countries as well as what their roll was in the war. Casualties
and post war problems should also be included.
 ALLIED POWERS-Should include a map, flag and leaders of your
countries as well as what their roll was in the war. Casualties
and post war problems should also be included.
 WORLD WAR I PICTURE TIMELINE-Should include at least 15
important dates such as: the outbreak of war, major battles, and
post war conferences
 SCHLIFFN PLAN-Should include a through outline of the Schliffen
Plan, how and why it was used and what the effects were.
 UNITED STATES INVOLVEMENT-Should include what, when, why and how
the United States got involved in the war. Make sure to include
the post war contributions as well.
 TRENCH WARFARE-Should include pictures/diagrams of trench
warfare as well as why the war was fought in the trenches.
 NEW WEAPONS-Should include all of the new weapons used in the
war, how they worked and what effect they had on the outcome of
the war.
 RUSSIAN REVOLUTION AND CIVIL WAR-Should include and picture
outline of Russia from Tsar Nicolas II through the control of
Stalin. Make sure to include the details of the March and
November revolutions as well as the rise of Lenin.
