Here are a few examples of upcoming assignments and their potential point totals: Homework – 10-20 points In-class Writing Activity – 5-20 points Quizzes 10-50 points Tests 50-200 points Projects 100-300 points In-class Speaking and Writing Activity – 10-50 points Overall In-Class Participation and Effort – 100 points How is my grade calculated? Your grade will be calculated by dividing the total number of POINTS you earn by the total number of Points POSSIBLE. Example: You earn 930 points in one quarter out of a possible 1000. You have a 93 average for your Quarter grade. 930 ------ = 93% 1000 The point values can give you a good idea about where to focus your energy in your study of Spanish. BE CAREFUL though, Low Scores and ZEROS (0%) will have a DRAMATIC AND DRASTIC affect on any average. Final Year Average Please Note: You must earn a minimum of 77% for the year in any Modern and Classical Language class in order to move on to the next level in that language. WEBSITE: .
