Synthesis, Characterization and Architecture of Bimetallic magnetic nanoparticles
(Independent Research project)
In this project, I have synthesized and characterized monodispersed FePt magnetic nanoparticles using
microemulsion route at room temperature and arrays were prepared & transferred by microcontact printing and
characterized using different techniques such as XRD, FE-SEM, DLS and AFM. The stability studies on arrays
were done by plasma treatment using RIE.


Photochemical degradation studies were carried out on alcohol, dye and pesticide substrates were using
Nano TiO2 and doped TiO2 & the effect of various parameters such as particle size, dopants on the photocatalytic activity were also studied using HPLC & GC-MS.

HPLC & GC-MS were employed to study consecutive reaction kinetics of the reaction.

Chemical characterization of intermediates and final products was carried out using conventional
techniques and GC-MS
