A Note from your Director
CHAMPIONS WE DID IT!
The sun stood still on the last day of the Mary Kay year – we got a whole extra 24 hours to wrap up our
goals and you all pulled it through! We worked all the way till the end and together accomplished Honors
Society, earning our unit the prestigious Triple Crown, for which we will be honored at Leadership
Conference in LA this January. I am so proud of the determination, the dedication, and the wholehearted team spirit that I saw from so many of you. You are truly deserving of our title and I hope you
proudly announce to your parties upon introduction that you come to them from a top-honored Triple
Crown Unit in Mary Kay and are proud to share with them the BEST skin care in the world!
With the tenacity you showed in the last stretch of our year and the great start we have so far through
July, I know we will reach our goals this year as well. Here’s the plan for 2013: We’re looking for LEADERS!
Mary Kay has opened up SO MUCH opportunity for us and is helping in every way they can to achieve the
company goal of 3000 new Sales Directors by 2013. We’re about halfway there as a company and we’re
halfway through the year as well. I’m looking to bring 3 of you with me as brand new Sales Directors to our
Leadership Conference in Los Angeles in January. Will it be you picking up that brand new gold Kate
Spade handbag and the $500 cash card? Qualifying for the exclusive night at Universal Studios that Mary
Kay has RENTED OUT THE WHOLE PARK FOR THE NIGHT!!!! It all starts with making a decision to get in RED, to
share this incredible opportunity with everyone you meet, to take on the company challenge of 50 faces
in 50 days and launch your business into new life and new levels. I am here to support you and help you

Four $1000 giveaways!! We have been invited to participate in a giveaway by National Sales Director
Jamie Vrinios! Here’s how it works…she will be drawing 4 names in November – each name will receive a
$1000 CASH bonus. Here’s how you can get in the drawing: for every $600 order you place your name
goes in once. For every qualified recruit you get, your name goes in once. (July, August, September and
October each count and each month restarts again) There is no limit for how many times your name can

Star Consultants
Congratulations to our STAR Consultants from Quarter 4 (4-quarter All-Stars in BOLD)

Our 4-Quarter Star Consultants enjoyed a complementary limousine ride to our unit awards ceremony at
Mary Kay Headquarters during Seminar in Dallas this month as well as
a special gift from Mary Kay corporate!
We are now well into our FIRST Star quarter of the 2012 Seminar year and the 50th Anniversary prizes are
INCREDIBLE!! If you haven’t already shared with me what prize YOU are picking up this quarter, please
email me ASAP so I can help you track it!
We are looking for 10 Stars this quarter in our unit. Which level will YOU be?
When you sell an average of $300 each week and place an average $600 wholesale order or more each
month you will be a STAR Consultant (total of $1800 for the quarter) PLUS you get 600 star points for each
personal qualified recruit in the quarter. STARS drive FREE CARS!!
*** This is a very important quarter to be a STAR – it is the first quarter of the year and will set the tone for
your year. It is your first step to achieving ALL-STAR recognition
at the 50th Anniversary Seminar celebration! ***

50 is the MAGIC NUMBER
All year long you will hear challenges with the number “50” in them. It’s only natural, as we are in our 50th
year…we’re currently in the company’s “50 Faces in 50 Days” Challenge, where you can earn a
certificate from Mary Kay as well as possibly $1000! See InTouch for the details, but as you are seeing all
these 50 plus new customers, tell them about the new upcoming Timewise Repair. Once you sell 5 of
these new sets, you can be eligible to win $1000 from the company!
***Our goal each month this year is to hold 50 unit parties. I am keeping a Google calendar of all our unit
parties, so please let me know as you book and hold your parties so we can update it! I will know your
party results by your weekly accomplishment sheet. Once we reach our 50 unit party goal in the month,
all participating consultants will also be entered to win a fabulous prize!

Fall Advance Retreat
We are honored to be included with the Jamie Vrinios National Area Fall Advance in Orlando Florida! The
retreat will be November 1-3 (special qualifications to stay for training on the 4th). Spouses are invited to
attend. Jamie’s husband Pete will be there and they will have a special class for spouses as well.
Included in the lineup of INCREDIBLE speakers is our very own Pearl Seminar Inner Circle National,
Executive National Sales Director Stacy James! This is an event that will change your life!
Retreat registration is $275 for consultants. Hotel is $149/night (will split between consultants in room)
Registration is limited, so please let me know ASAP that you intend to come and when you will pay
registration to reserve your spot. Payment can be made by credit card, paypal, cash or check.
Go for the Gold!
Mary Kay has gone GOLD (in case you hadn’t noticed)! We are in a challenge to add 10 NEW QUALIFIED
UNIT MEMBERS between now and November 30. We already have one! Only 9 more to make it
there…and you get beautiful bangle bracelets for participating in this challenge! Each recruiter who
achieves part of the team’s goal (you recruit at least 1 new qualified person and the unit reaches at least
10) will receive a bangle bracelet for each qualified recruit you have!
Our unit goal is 25 new recruits each month between now and next June, so how many of these bracelets
will you earn by November 30?

Be a part of Power Team! Details are on the unit website home page. Each month you qualify for Power
Team you will build a beautiful MK Charm Bracelet AND those consultants that are local will enjoy a
special event together! Quarter-long consistency achievers will also receive a beautiful collectible mug!
The tracking voucher to claim your prize is on the Christi’s Champion Unit website. Remember, vouchers
must be turned in to me by the 5th of every month to redeem your prize! Local consultants – sometimes
our event is before the 5th so be sure to get your vouchers in ASAP! Step 1 for qualifying is to get your
Weekly Accomplishment Sheets turned in EVERY WEEK! There are many ways to qualify, so check it out to
see what you have done! Next POWER TEAM event is August 3!
