Project Name: Installation & Cloning of Oracle Applications 11i
Description: A new VISION demo database was initially installed for the
application developers for testing. Later a production database was
installed which was used for projects. It required duplication of an
existing 11i application onto another Sun Solaris Enterprise server.
Implementation Details:
1. Creation of applications owner and installing technology stack and
setting up the installation for VISION demo and the Production
database using Rapid wiz.
2. Configuration of database, portal page, startup and shutdown of the
applications services through scripts.
3. Application of Post Install patches and maintenance pack.
4. Creation of digital signature for the JAR files downloaded to the
client.
5. Configuration of the client Jinitiator, startup Oracle Self Service
