Candidate Profile:
 Bachelor / Master’s degree in CS/ME/IT/related technology
 2-8 years of experience in production Support Environment on Oracle DB.
 Experience in maintaining Oracle databases
 Good to have Database Architecture and Database Server Clustering exposure.
 Good skills in Threading, Serialization, Security, Remote and performance optimization
 Experience in building and deploying web based applications.
 Ability to build working prototypes early in development life cycle and validate non-functional
requirements
 Nice to have: exposure to MongoDB
 Outstanding Architects to be responsible for building & designing innovative next generation
Database Systems.
 Creative, self motivated individual with an inclination towards Product Development.
Skills Required:
 Should have experience in Installation and maintenance of database server, replication and client
environments.
 Should have experience in determining, implementing, and managing database backup and
recovery strategies / systems.
 Should have strong Database concepts - Indexing, partitioning, Query optimization.
 Should have experience in Management of database and resource capacity planning.
 Should have experience in Design, development and administration of Oracle databases.
 Should have experience in Performance monitoring, reporting, and tuning of Oracle databases.
 Should be good in Reviewing and tuning SQL code.
 Should be good in Designing oracle database packages and procedures.
 Should have worked in environments such as 24/7 support of production database services to
ensure the highest standards of availability, resilience, integrity, security and performance required
by our business systems.
 Should have very good analytical and problem solving skills to debug various issues.
 Nice to be certified as oracle DBA
Following skills will be an added advantage:
 Understanding of database administration in MySQL RDBMS environment.
 Experience in managing MySQL database based applications.
 DBA experience with MySQL (preferably 5.0 and above)
 Performance Tuning and optimization of databases.
 Monitoring and Maintenance of one or more MySQL servers.
 Working on different applications that has MySQL database as the backend.
 Experience on clusters, Incidents, Replication, Maintenance
 Data modeling, query design and optimization, stored procedures.
 Work closely with development teams and be responsible for physical database design and
implementation performance tuning
