(CSUMentor.edu) Step 2: Complete the application attached to this sheet: Charter College of Education Application for Admission to a Master Degree Program. Step 3: Return the completed application along with the following documents to the AASE Office located in KH C2098, 343 343-4330: Two letters of recommendation from university faculty or a professional reference. Official transcripts of all university-level course work. Please insure that your application is fully completed and that you have included each of the items listed above. Incomplete application packets will not be considered. Step 4: You will receive an official letter from the Office of Applied and Advanced Studies in Education notifying you of the decision regarding your application within 2-3 working weeks from the date your application is received. Please note that some students will be required to interview with an advisor before a decision is reached with regard to their application. Those students that are required to interview will be notified by the AASE Office. Step 5: If you are admitted, please call the AASE Office and make an appointment to meet with an advisor to complete a Program Plan. You will need to meet at least twice before your Program Plan is finalized. In an initial meeting you will be advised with regards to program requirements and electives. In a second meeting you and your advisor will complete and sign your final Program Plan. Your advisor will retain the original Program Plan and you will be provided with a copy. Step 6: Your advisor will submit your original program plan to the Division Chairperson for approval. Upon approval by the Division Chair, your Program Plan will be forwarded to the Associate Dean’s Office for Graduate Studies. Step 7: The Associate Dean’s Office for Graduate Studies will review and grant a final approval to your Program Plan. Upon approval, the Office of Graduate Studies will process a change in your status to Classified Graduate Status (G2), which permits registration in restricted courses.
