PATHWAY
PATHWAY determines the least cost route between one or more target cells and
one or more lower terminal cells on.
The lowest points on the cost surface represent the terminal points for the
PATHWAY module.
The image produced is binary with the least cost path indicated by ones on a background
of zeros.
PATHWAY follows the steepest downhill route from the target to the terminal until no
further movement is possible.
It is important that no false minima exist on the cost surface, and that the lowest point
or points has a value of zero.
