geothermal exploration and development. Work involved petrographic analysis of wellcuttings from geothermal areas, sinter and scale characterization, and assessment of
well-bore damage.
Designed program of rock:water interactions studies and oil shale characterization for
assessment and mitigation of environmental problems associated with Oxy's in-situ oil
shale retorting program.
