Dear Senior Parent:
The Cedar Cliff Echoes staff would like to offer you a unique opportunity to surprise your high school
senior with a lasting memory in the 2010-11 issue of the yearbook. This special opportunity involves your
purchase of a personalized message to appear in the Senior Dedication Ad section. The yearbook will be
distributed in late May, and your message can be a special surprise for your son or daughter just weeks
before graduation.
Many exciting options are available this year to help you personalize this message. To accommodate
affordability and size preference, we are offering the purchase of several message sizes. You may purchase
1/8, 1/4 and 1/2 page layouts and full page messages as well. In addition to these four size options, you can
also personalize the style by choosing between the two different layouts we have available for each size.
We hope this variety will assist you in matching the right layout with your desired message.
Senior dedications are one of the aspects of the yearbook to which students look forward. Join many other
senior parents by recognizing a son or daughter with a personalized message. Imagine how much it would
mean to your high school student to open the 2010-11 Cedar Cliff Echoes and discover a dedication that
preserves those special memories of family and growing up. Just fill out the form on the back and return it
to us along with your photos and a check made payable to A.C. Reynolds High School. The deadline for
this offer is Friday, October 15th. If you do not turn in your order form by this date there will be an
additional fee of $5. If you have questions, call the yearbook staff from 11:30-1:30 at 298-2500. With your
help, we will create an innovative yearbook truly reflective of this year’s students.
We will accept both cds with jpg images or hard copy photos to scan. If you would like us to mail the
cd/photos back to you please include a stamped self-addressed envelope. If one is not provided we will
assume that we can return the photos to your child.

Please note: Do not cut, alter, or resize photos in any way. Do not submit digital images printed on your
home computer. We will crop and resize all pictures to fit in the layouts.
How to understand the layouts.
1.
White boxes are photos. Their sizes are smaller than in the yearbook, but the proportions
are correct. If a photo box is vertical, choose a picture that will crop nicely in a vertical
shape. We will scan and crop pictures for you!
2.
The sample writing in the layout is where your message will go. Read the sample copy as it
will tell you the number of words you are allowed for that ad size. We will not make fonts
smaller to fit in more words! The sample copy will also tell you how many pictures you need
for the ad.
