The PLUS Board Ann Finlayson joined PLUS Board in 2007 and is a former chair of the board. She lives in Cambusbarron and has two grown up daughters and 18 year old son Niall who is a member of PLUS Youth. Ann currently works for Jobcentre Plus. Ann is also a Community Councillor and is on the Cambusbarron Gala Committee. Carol Ann Forbes joined the board in 2009, She lives in Bannockburn with her 17 year old daughter Emma who has been attending Plus since she was 6. She is an Advertising Executive with the Herald newspaper. Gail Riddell has been a member of the board for 6 years and is a member of the Staffing Working Group. She lives in Stirling with her husband Peter, her sons Scott and Glenn, a couple of guinea pigs and a few fish! Scott is a member of PLUS Youth. Gail works part time as a midwife. Irene Cavanagh joined the board in 2009. She is currently the chair of the board. Pat Wharton has been on the Plus Board since 2006 and is a member of the Quality and Development Working Group. She lives in Stirling, has four sons and 6 grandchildren who are a great joy to both her and her husband. Pat is an early years’ pedagogical consultant working across several local authorities in Scotland. Sandy Farquharson has been the treasurer of PLUS since 2005. He chairs the Finance and Funding Working Group. Susan Rodger Susan Rodger joined the board in 2009, having worked as the Plus Youth Inclusion Project Manager for 3 years previous to this appointment. Susan works as a Youth Worker and is the Adviser for Additional Needs for Forth Valley Girl Guides. Susan sits on the Quality and Development Working Group, Plus Futures Group, and the Fundraising Group. Winnie Maclean has been a Board member since 2006. She is a member of the Finance and Funding Group. Her grand daughter Chloe is a member of Playplus. She is also a member of the board of the Stirling Carers Centre. Lesley Livesey has been a member of the PLUS board since November 2010. She is a qualified Social Worker and has worked in a variety of capacities supporting children and adults with disabilities within statutory and educational settings and voluntary organisations. Latterly she managed services for children in a range of settings for Aberlour Child Care Trust. Lesley is passionate about the inclusion of all children in their local communities. She is currently Co-Director of ‘Keys to Inclusion’ promoting inclusion for children and families affected by disability and is Parental Involvement Officer for Stirling Council. She is married with 2 teenage sons.
