In the framework of a kitting out event, Kögel was presented to all the athletes in the German National Team, over 400 guests from Sport and Business and dozens of representatives from TV and the press as the official trailer provider to the National German Biathlon teams. The multiple Olympic Champions and multiple World Champions Magdalena Neuner, Michael Greis, Andrea Henkel and Arnd Peiffer and the President of the German Ski Association, Alfons Hörmann, received the "Wax Truck" on behalf of the entire Biathlon Team. This service vehicle was designed in co-operation with the sponsors Würth, MAN and Kögel in accordance with the requirements of the athletes and their service technicians. 1 The sturdy three-axle box semi-trailer Kögel Box is insulated. Its walls are made of multi-layer bonded panels. It therefore provides optimum working conditions for the athletes' service team for waxing and preparation of the cross-country skis, even if the outside temperatures are very low. The trailer is fitted with several workplaces for the service technicians, grinding machines, ski-racks and changing rooms. Special Dometic Seitz windows provide the best heat insulation and clear vision to the outside. The Kögel box trailers are used throughout Europe for the transporting of sensitive goods where the protection of the load from environmental influences or theft is of importance. "Motivated athletes, such as the multiple Olympic Champions Magdalena Neuner and Michael Greis embody the values of the Kögel company: indigenous, dynamic, authentic and successful“, explained Volker Seitz, Communications Manager, as the commitment of Kögel. The German biathletes will experience great events in the next few months. Next February and March we have the World Championships in our native Ruhpolding. Then we have the World Cups. And it's not long now to the next Winter Olympics. "As a previous member of the National German Athletics Team, I know that a professional framework environment is extremely important for performance athletes. Kögel is therefore pleased to provide support for the DSV Team“, continues Seitz. Photos: 1.
