Press release World Class! Kögel congratulates "their" biathletes Burtenbach, 13th. March 2015 The special trailer by Kögel supports the success of the athletes Kögel is the official trailer outfitter to the national German ski biathlon team. Fantastic success at the biathlon world championships last weekend for the National Team of Germany: Erik Lesser is the world champion and Laura Dahlmaier is the vice world champion. Erik Lesser attributed his success partly to his phenomenal skis in an interview given to the German TV channel ZDF. Naturally these were prepared in the Kögel waxing trailer at the world championships. The Kögel Box dry freight box body, equipped according to the requirements of the athletes and technical assistants that use it, once again made a contribution to the success of the German national biathlon team. The sturdy well-insulated three-axle Kögel Box body trailer guarantees the service team optimum working conditions even at extreme outdoor temperatures. The trailer is equipped with several grinding machines and work stations so that the service technicians can wax and prepare cross-country skis. The wax truck is also kitted out with ski racks, changing rooms, and quiet rooms. Two months ago, at the Heim World Cup in Ruhpolding, technicians and product managers from Kögel were able to take a closer look at the Kögel wax truck that had been in service for three years under extreme 1 Press release conditions and which partly moved on unpaved tracks and could see for themselves the very good condition of the box body. The truck drivers of the DSV also gave the trailer a perfect report card. "This flying visit in Ruhpolding gave the new World Champion Erik Lesser the opportunity to praise the wax truck for providing the optimum conditions for preparation of the skis", said Volker Seitz, Director Communication/Marketing and Business Development at Kögel. "We are very proud of the fact that, with the Kögel wax truck, we are making a small but not exactly insignificant contribution to the success of the German national biathlon team."
