How to make your site:
Log in to Moodle: moodle.eastpennsd.org
Click on GoogleSites under EPSD Applications on left side of page
Click Create
Name your site: pd # topic #assigned to your group
You can choose a template or blank. There are options at the bottom also.
Click Create Page
Your site will be created, at top click on pencil to edit the page
Button to the right allows you to add a page (NOT required)
Next button to right offers other actions
You MUST click Save
When FINISHED, click Share, type Heather Marsteller and save
You MUST include:
A. You need to have at least one picture to help us understand your term.
B. Bullet or list information on the following:
1. Background Information
no less than 3 background facts on your term: can include
previous beliefs, related ideas, if it is a person it can be birthplace,
invention, importance etc.
2. Importance of Your Topic
How did your topic impact or change life at the time?
Explain how your term changed or contributed to the world
3. What if?
How do YOU think society would be like today IF your topic had
never existed. That means no one else thought of it.
C. Place the names of all the people in your group and a works cited using
proper MLA format. IF you use a library database, most of this is provided,
otherwise use easybib.com.
Due Date and Presentation of your pamphlet: Project due: ________________
Points: This project is worth 50 points; 35 points for your pamphlet and 15 points for the
presentation of your pamphlet.
**This is your FIRST rating period project grade**
Remember this is to be done in small groups. All group members must be here and do
their part on the project. You are responsible to one another for your group grade.
