ENG 1D1: Racism Pamphlet Assignment Each student will create a pamphlet which informs the public about the issue of racism. Your pamphlet must include text in the form of researched information, direct quotations and analysis. It must also include visuals, colour and effective design layout. SPECIFICS/PROCESS: 1. Each student must read three articles and create research notes that clearly outline the following: - the title and author of the article - who the article is about - what the article is about - where the events described in the article take place - when the article was written NOTE: You must read "From Selma to Montgomery" as one of your three articles. 2. Choose three passages from each article that reflect significant information or emotional impact. In a paragraph of no more than five sentences (for each article) explain why these passages were chosen. 3. Define the following: racism, prejudice, segregation, xenophobia, equality. 4.
