ORGAN DONOR EDUCATION
2007-2008 Board Position Descriptions
ODE is dedicated to increasing awareness in the Stanford undergraduate and graduate
community about the national organ shortage. By promoting discussion and addressing questions
about this topic we hope to encourage members of the community to sign organ donation cards
and thereby help the community at large.
The goal of ODE is not to "convert" those who cannot participate for cultural or religious
reasons, but rather encourage discussion among those members who had not considered donation
and would welcome the opportunity to give the gift of life.
