BUS EVACUATION DRILL
Some students take the bus to school almost every day. The bus is a very safe
way to get to and from school. If there is an emergency on the bus I may need
to get out a special way. This is called an evacuation. Children need to practice
a bus evacuation every year.
I will probably have to leave the bus out the back door. This is okay.
I need to listen to my bus driver or other adults when I am evacuating the bus.
This will help me stay safe.
I will try to listen to the adults and leave the bus out the back door quickly. This
will make Ms. Spin and Mrs. Thompson happy and proud.
