Personal Charms
Lesson Focus: This lesson focuses on intricate sawing to create three personal charms.
Vocabulary:
Charm: A small ornament, such as one worn on a bracelet.
Icon: An important and enduring symbol.
Procedure:
 Create a list of icons, images, or words that are important to you.
 You will create three different charms that are personal to you and hold a special meaning.
 Once you have a list, you will create several sketches for each one.
 Choose one that you like for each one.
 Your charms may be no larger than 1" in any direction.
 You may solder or use cold connections- you aren't restricted to one layer of metal.
 Your final project must be sanded and filed perfectly and professionally.
