Metalwork and Jewelry: Personal Charms Lesson Focus: This lesson focuses on intricate sawing to create three personal charms. Vocabulary: Charm: A small ornament, such as one worn on a bracelet. Icon: An important and enduring symbol. Procedure: Create a list of icons, images, or words that are important to you. You will create three different charms that are personal to you and hold a special meaning. Once you have a list, you will create several sketches for each one. Choose one that you like for each one. Your charms may be no larger than 1" in any direction. You may solder or use cold connections- you aren't restricted to one layer of metal.
