Requesting and sending all required application materials expeditiously will help facilitate the screening process and scheduling of interviews. Please request transcripts early – they usually take the longest to send. Upon receipt of residency application materials, all materials will be evaluated to determine the candidates who will be invited for onsite interviews. Examples of screening criteria include participation in organizations, leadership experience, writing style, work experience, community service, grades, and letters of recommendation, etc. Your references should utilize the evaluation in PhORCAS. Please be sure your references can adequately assess the following: Clinical Skills (e.g., demonstrated clinical progress and development as well as clinical competency) Strengths and weaknesses Professional motivation and commitment When interviewing, you will meet with the residency program director, residency program coordinator, the current PGY1 pharmacy residents, and a variety of preceptors. You will also receive a tour of the facility. There is no presentation required for the interview.
