Install yellow sticky trap @ 10/kanal to control aphid. Cut the shoots up to the height of 10-15 cm, if shoots are 20-30 cm high or after 30-45 days after planting to enable the plant grow erect. Marigold/Rose/ Chrysanthemum Vegetative/ Flowering Continue Transplanting of marigold. Spray imidacloprid @1.5 ml/lt of water, if aphid attack is observed in marigold, chrysanthemum and rose. Spray mixture of Bavistin + Dithane M-45 (1gm+2gm) @ 3gm/lt of water, if leaf spot observed in chrysanthemum. Vegetables: Potato (Tuber formation) Proper earthup the exposed potato tubers as it attains height of 15-22 cm. Spray mancozeb @0.25% or metalaxy+mancozeb @0.25%, if symptoms of late blight and early blight are observed. Maintan 160C to 180C temperature during fruiting and 230C to 240C during spawn run. Maintain 85%-90% relative humidity inside the growing room. Provide proper ventilation in the cropping room. Horticulture Plants of young orchards should be provided with thatches prepared from Sarkanda or any other locally available material, however, it should be kept open on eastern side to allow sufficient sun shine and air for the plant Ber Young/ Bearing Mango/ Citrus/ Guava Young Mix methyl parathion dust @ 250 mg /tree in mango to control mealy bug. Spray 2,4-D in citrus to control premature fruit drop. Apiculture Sulphur dusting/oxalic acid spray @ 3.5% in one litre of water is recommended at fortnight intervals to control ectoparasitic mites. Dust sulphur on top bars (1gm./frame) for control of ectoprarasitic mite both in infested/non-infested colonies. Arrange curtains in the poultry sheds in order to protect the birds from cold. Poultry Live stock: Dairy animals/ Sheep & Goat Use dry gunny bags as bedding material for protection against low night temperatures Protect the pregnant and milch animals from cold and feed them mineral mixture regularly. Provide dry bedding during night. To avoid cracking or fissuring of teats in cold dry weather, clean the teats with warm water and apply ghee or butter after every milking. Give special care to young calves as they are more sensitive to pneumonia.. Do not allow animals to leave khurli early in morning directly to open area.
