What 3 things did you like LEAST about this course? Might have been useful to talk more about personality disorders, even if just to say that there isn't much to do with them. Limited by time. none Not having parking in TCGP despite numerous spaces remaining empty and cars being parked with people not even entering TCGP. nil nothing nil no parking at tcgp but sufficient spaces to accommodate= - some areas quite rushed - referrals process was not easily readable 1. Long! 2. Not enough interaction. 3. Question time perhaps not enough. none 2 06.06.2011 11:54:57 QuestBack export - GPStR1 Day Release Evaluation Form - Psychiatry Session 3. Did you feel there was anything missing from this course? If so, please explain what it was and why. Bit on personality disorders might have been good, with the understanding that they are not going to be helped by referral to CMHT, even if just for advice about what to do with them. no A parking space in TCGP as being on-call or even working in hospital other than Ninewells makes it essential to use a car and at 9 o'clock in the mormning there are frequently very few spaces left in the Ninewells vicinity. no no nothing no no wee bit more information about the therapeutic options in primary care - exactly when to refer certain cases No. Including what is expected of a GP trainee when posted in Psychiatry few real case based discussion. 3 06.06.2011 11:54:57 QuestBack export - GPStR1 Day Release Evaluation Form - Psychiatry Session 4. Please make any comments about the Psychiatry session It was only Dr Curran good The session only involved Dr Stephen Curran and he made an admirable effort to maintain our attention, despite difficulty of single speaker and some difficult subject matter. m I enjoyed it and found the discussion about emergency detertions very useful. It was very useful to go through the form and do the cases. nil Nil none Overall good. Very useful which patient and how to section patient very helpful, especially actually seeing the form. 5 06.06.2011 11:54:57 QuestBack export - GPStR1 Day Release Evaluation Form - Psychiatry Session 6. Are there any other comments you would like to make about this session, the venue, the organisation of the course etc? Previously I have never cared that we are no longer allowed to park in the TCGP carpark as I didn't anyway and just parked a bit further away and walked. Now that I have to drive 30 minutes to teaching, then an hour and 15 minutes to Stirling (or an hour and a half to Larbert) for an afternoon that I will inevitably finish at least an hour or two late because of having missed the morning, then another 45 minutes-1 hour driving home, it's quite annoying. There's probably nothing that can be done about but it doesn't stop it being pretty annoying. no Just that there was no parking in TCGP which would have been very helpful! no parking at TCGP is a problem, no no parking at TCGP - why not? lack of parking facilities no No. great! none 6
