Warsaw, 16 December 2008 Sygnity S.A. will facilitate settlement of reimbursement for social insurance contributions of disabled persons The Company Sygnity S.A. has concluded an agreement with PERON (the State Fund for Rehabilitation of Disabled Persons) on modification of the SODiR system (the System of Supplementary Financing and Reimbursement Servicing). The modification of the system is aimed at facilitating settlement of reimbursement of social insurance contributions of disabled persons running business activities. The agreement amounts to PLN 2.5 ml. Modification of the system is necessary due to the legislative changes which were introduced by the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in the framework of the amendment of the regulation on reimbursement of social insurance contributions of disabled persons. The modifications in the SODiR system, developed and previously implemented by Sygnity, will be based on isolating and implementing the new pattern of the claim for reimbursement of social insurance for disabled persons running business activities as well as on implementation of new procedures for granting reimbursement for these contributions. Work on this change, especially analytical one, lasted several months, parallel to the development of the final shape of the regulation. The date of termination of the agreement has been assumed for 31 December 2008. The SODiR system enables its beneficiaries to submit via the Internet all documents necessary to gain supplementary financing of remuneration for disabled employees and reimbursement of obligatory social insurance contributions of disabled persons. In PERON’s case, the system enables processing information received from employers and it facilitates the decision-making process connected with reimbursement for contributions and granting supplementary financing. The system serves also as a subsidiary ledger in which PERON’s obligations resulting from granted and realized supplementary financing and reimbursement are booked and settled. Moreover, the system allows to carry out a register of employers employing disabled persons, disabled employees or disabled persons who run business activities and farmers obliged to pay insurance contributions for disabled persons. *** About Sygnity S.A.
